FIELD: fire-fighting equipment, particularly portable or fixed fire-extinguishers and fire-extinguishing systems and systems for creating inert atmosphere into protected space.
SUBSTANCE: device has evaporative pipeline located on the reservoir outside and communicated by lower end thereof with lower reservoir part filled with liquid fire extinguishant. Upper end of evaporative pipeline communicates with upper reservoir part above liquid fire extinguishant level. Shutoff valve is arranged at inlet pipeline end. Pressure release valve is located in upper reservoir wall for communicating reservoir area above liquid fire extinguishant level with mixing chamber. Device has removable hose joined to nozzle.
EFFECT: extended operational capabilities and, as a result, extended safe storage life of library and archive stock, inhibited ageing of stored documents due to feeding cold nitrogen vapor into storage space and reduced oxygen content due to displacing air with nitrogen, prevention of ignition due to creating inert atmosphere in storage space, possibility of device usage as active fire extinguisher in another location.
