FIELD: sorbents.
SUBSTANCE: invention provides sorbent compositions in the form of particles containing mixture of zinc oxide, silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, and nickel oxide in essentially reduced valence form, which are developed for desulfurization of cracking gasoline feedstock or diesel fuel feedstock streams in desulfurization zone involving process comprising contact in the desulfurization zone followed by separation of low-sulfur feedstock from sulfurized sorbent and regeneration and activation of recycled sorbent.
EFFECT: increased sulfur entrapping degree.
