FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to adsorbents for desulphuration of hydrocarbon oil, preparing and using them. Adsorbing substance for desulphuration of catalytic cracking gasoline contains following components in terms of total weight of adsorbing substance: Si-Al molecular sieve with BEA structure in amount of 3-20 wt%, binder selected from group consisting of titanium dioxide, tin dioxide, zirconium dioxide and aluminium oxide in amount of 3-35 wt%, silicon dioxide in amount of 5-40 wt%, zinc oxide in amount of 10-80 wt% and metal-promoter selected from group consisting of cobalt, nickel, iron and manganese in amount of 5-30 wt%, wherein at least 10 wt% of metal-promoter is present in low-valence state.
EFFECT: invention provides higher activity and stability of adsorbent, which enables to increase octane number of petrol product.
