FIELD: manufacture of building materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention proposes refractory aluminosilicate concrete mix appropriate for linings of heat assemblies in metallurgy, heat and power engineering, manufacture of building materials (monolith lining in rotary furnaces), petrochemistry, and other areas requiring operation temperatures up to 1450оС. Mix comprising chamotte filler, high-alumina cement, and super-plasticizer based on sodium salts of naphthalenesulfonic acid/formaldehyde condensation product additionally contains 0.04-1.0% of calcium-alumina cake at ratio CaO/Al2O3 = 1.25-1.55, proportions of components being as follows, wt %: cement 15-35, super-plasticizer 0.05-0.3 (above 100%), cake 0.04-1.0 (above 100%), and filler - the balance. Chamotte filler is completely or partially consisting of crushed defective products or waste of chamotte refractories. Calcium-alumina cake is metallurgical synthetic slag.
EFFECT: minimized thermal volume expansion, increased fire and heat resistance, and reduced heat conductance resulting in prolonged stability of heat-retention covers of steel-pouring ladles up to 1840 smeltings.
