FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to special-purpose concrete and can be used in production of commercial-grade refractory concrete and thermal generating unit structures subject to high temperatures and sharp temperature drop for long periods. The refractory concrete mixture contains portland cement M 400, sand and crushed stone with particle size 5-20 mm obtained by crushing scrap chamotte refractory followed by size grading, fine filler in form of a sludge obtained via combined wet-grinding of scrap chamotte and high-alumina refractory to particle size 30-200 nm with preliminary addition of liquid sodium glass with density 1.23 g/cm3 to water, with the following ratio of components in wt %: portland cement M 400 8-15, said filler from scrap chamotte refractory 8-15, said filler from scrap high-alumina refractory 3.7-5.9, said sand 24.5-26.4, said crushed stone 35-36.3, said liquid glass 0.2-0.35, water - the rest.
EFFECT: high density, strength, heat resistance, low shrinkage and susceptibility to cracking.
