FIELD: pyrotechnics.
SUBSTANCE: composition contains 2 to 30% of fuel and oxidants selected from potassium perchlorate and barium chromate, wherein fuel solid-alloy metalloceramic powder composition based on group IV-VI transition metal carbide(s) cemented by iron-subgroup metal. Such composition is characterized by burning rate preciseness and sensitivity to low-energy heat pulse with duration 2 to 5 ms over the temperature range from -50 to +85оС so that it enables large-scale manufacture of blasting devices, e.g. capsules-detonators, electrodetonators) with response time between 15 and 10000 ms and intervals 15, 20, 25, 50, 250, 500, and 1000 ms in a common structural device base.
EFFECT: increased retardation precision.
