FIELD: mechanical engineering; pumps.
SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, energy consumption at operation of group of vane chargers connected in parallel under nonstationary load with due account of possibility of control of delivery of liquid medium with throttling of pipeline network to consumers and step-by-step control by cutting in one or several groups of pumping units for simultaneous operation. Each group of pumping units includes several different-type vane chargers with different performance characteristics and separate control of each vane charger in group with provision of compatibility of different type chargers in group during operation. Minimum possible power consumption is determined at provision of required delivery over entire range of change of power consumption at minimum tolerable heads and maximum values of efficiency, and value of minimum excess head over entire range of load change in pressure manifold at change of load with optimization of working conditions is determined. In process or real time control delivery of each charger and summary delivery of group of simultaneously operating chargers, pressure in pressure manifold or in check point of network, speed of wheel rotation of each charger, pressure at inlet of each pump and power consumed by drive motor of each charge are determined. By using frequency controlled drive and changing components of pumping equipment, value of minimum excess head in pressure manifold is set.
EFFECT: optimization of operation of system of vane chargers at variable load.
