SUBSTANCE: for each of the managing points of the network the regulating characteristic is determined (R) corresponding to the optimal power consumption of the pump station at minimum permitted pressure in the managing point. These characteristics, and data received from the consumed power meter are entered in the independent control device, control point and appropriate characteristic (R) are determined. Then joint operation of group of static current frequency converters is coordinated, the converters ensure power supply of the motors maintaining the required speed of rotation of the motor shafts, and/or next pump is switched off or on.
EFFECT: assurance of power efficiency, reduced capital expenses, and expansion of the method use scope.
