FIELD: mechanical engineering; compressors, their protection and control.
SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method, base line of appearance of rotating stall is determined using, as rotating stall signal, maximum of autocorrelation function of pressure fluctuation parameter and then, at expiration of chosen preset time interval, shift of condition of appearance of rotating stall relative to base line is determined and horizontal coordinates of working conditions point are found and adjusting lines of antisurge control and protection system are displaced through said value. Signal of appearance of rotating stall is initiated by reducing compressor speed for system with characteristic near horizontal and/or by closing the throttle for system with characteristic close to throttling one. Rotating stall signal appearing within time limits between its initiations is used for operation of antisurge control and protection system.
EFFECT: improved accuracy, reliability and economy of compressor.
