FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed torsional vibration damper contains at least two disk parts installed for turning relative to each other opposite to action of at least one energy accumulator provided between them in force transmitting circuit and acting in direction toward periphery. At least one energy accumulator is arranged in hanging device divided into two seat parts. Both seat parts can be loaded for compression of at least one energy accumulator by loading devices of one of disk parts, respectively. Each loading device loads alternatively one corresponding seat part depending on direction of rotation.
EFFECT: provision of torsional vibration damper less liable to wear, featuring higher strength, easy mounting of energy accumulators in flywheel masses.
