FIELD: measuring equipment, particularly for gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: protective device includes body formed as hollow cylinder. Body has process orifice above which influx means is located. Influx means is secured to body and has bypass including inlet and outlet pipe-bends communicating each other. Outlet pipe-bend is arranged above process body orifice and has connection pipe for measuring instrument connection. Inlet pipe-bend and outer surface of influx means are heat-insulated. Outer surfaces of outlet pipe-bend and/or outer body surface located under influx means have fibs. Connection pipe for measuring instrument connection is inclined to outlet pipe-bend. Connection pipe for measuring instrument connection, measuring instrument and body part located under instrument are arranged in heat-insulated shell. Body part located under shell has ribs. Part of outer body surface located opposite influx means and non-covered with influx means has heat insulation. Additional drainage orifices are formed in body in plane perpendicular to gas pipeline axis and located symmetrically to gas pipeline center. Permeable netted adapter is located in influx means above process orifice.

EFFECT: possibility of operating instrument for measuring moistened gas pressure or flow rate in horizontal pipelines of above-ground gas collection systems under negative ambient temperature conditions due to preventing blockage of pipes connecting pipeline with measuring instrument with ice and condensed moisture.
