FIELD: lighting equipment utilizing microwave radiation.
SUBSTANCE: invention deals with device and technology ensuring obstacle to propagation of microwaves scattered by damaged resonator in lighting fixture. Proposed device and technology include electrodeless cylinder to form light with use of microwave radiation formed by magnetron, sensitive element positioned outside of resonator to secure output of detection signal when scattered microwave radiation is detected in real time, to find out whether this microwave radiation is scattered. Resonator in this case provides obstacle to scattering of microwave radiation and for transmission of light formed by electrodeless cylinder. Control unit is switched on and off by detection signal supplied by magnetron.
EFFECT: prevention of spontaneous fire while microwave scatter, increased safety of user due to prevention of microwave scattering from resonator of lighting fixture.
