FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: plasma lighting facility with microwave pumping comprises a sealed body equipped with a cover and an opening in it, with magnetron and power supply source supplying magnetron, which are placed inside the body along the axis. The device comprises microwave resonator placed coaxially to the body and having translucent side and end walls and light-reflective bottom installed in the cover opening, and electrodeless plasma lamp mounted in the microwave resonator within antinode region with potential rotation at a support bar fixed by its other end at the drive shaft and which axis is coaxial to the body shaft. Coaxial communication line passes in parallel to the body axis and provides transfer of microwave energy from the magnetron to the microwave resonator, and it has a coupling loop at the end placed in the microwave resonator. The lighting facility comprises multitude of heat sinks placed at inner walls of the body and ensuring heat transfer from the magnetron and power supply source placed in the body, which generate heat removed through the body wall into environment, sealed translucent hollow cylinder mounted coaxially and hermetically at the body cover on top of the microwave resonator and intended to protect the microwave resonator against environmental exposure.
