FIELD: engineering of light sources and optical sources, using microwave spectrum.
SUBSTANCE: electrode-less lighting system contains: magnetron 101 for generating microwaves, having antenna 101a, along which microwaves are outputted; resonator 102, having resonance space, wherein microwaves are resonated, and internal diameter of which is partially varying along trajectory of microwaves passage; vessel 104, mounted inside resonator and containing material therein, emitting light radiation under effect from microwave energy; and line 103 for transferring microwaves, one side of which is connected to antenna and another side of which is connected to aforementioned vessel: for sending microwaves into vessel; and wherein relation of external diameter of microwaves transmission line and relation of internal diameter of resonator, appropriate for external diameter of microwaves transmission line, change in direction of passage of microwaves.
EFFECT: possible use of electrode-less lighting system as optical source of electronic device because of its minimization and possible synchronization of full resistances and adjustment of resonance frequency.
