SUBSTANCE: system has base station controller that functions to detect calling subscriber identifying information in modulated signal transmitted from mobile communications switching center and terminal that functions to display detected calling subscriber identifying information on screen; base station controller incorporates unit for detecting hardware warning signal residing in user's location that functions to detect hardware warning signal in call signal transferred from mobile communications switching center in call waiting state; calling subscriber identifying information detection unit that functions to detect calling subscriber identifying information in modulated data in compliance with hardware warning signal detecting signal; vocoder that functions to encode voice data transferred from mobile communications switching center; and selector used to select output signal of vocoder or calling subscriber identifying information detection unit in compliance with hardware warning signal detecting signal and to transfer this output signal to terminal through base station.
EFFECT: preventing destruction of calling subscriber identifying information by vocoder.
