FIELD: cellular telephone systems. SUBSTANCE: stationary telephone system is provided with updated interface of calling subscriber. Removal of hand set of standard wireless telephone set initiates establishment of speech path between telephone set and switchboard of cellular communication system. Then cellular system sends call tone of number into speech path and calling subscriber dials digits of telephone number of called party. Digits dialed by calling subscriber are transmitted over speech path into switchboard of cellular system where they are processed to set up connection with called party. Dialed digits are in addition analyzed in turn to determine whether incorrect or unauthorized digits or combinations of digits were entered by calling subscriber. Interface of calling subscriber provided by stationary cellular communication system functions in substance as with use of customary wire telephone system and in updated manner in comparison with typical cellular system. EFFECT: updating of interface of calling subscriber with regard to speed of establishment of connection with called party, test of validity of digits dialed by calling subscriber. 13 cl, 5 dwg
