FIELD: mechanical engineering; loading manipulators.
SUBSTANCE: proposed boom includes root section and arm coupled with root section, both installed for turning by means of four power cylinders. Root section is made in form of triangle, and arm consists of two rod-type articulated triangles with brace common for both triangles. Cylinders are provided with common hinge joint with trunnions connected with corresponding rods in form, of flat trusses. Opposite ends of root section truss and its cylinders are secured on load-lifting device by means of slewing circles with two degrees of freedom. Root section has cantilever being extension of vertical axle of device. Post with horizontal supports is secured on opposite end of section for turning in horizontal plane. Section has tie-rod which forms, together with cantilever, post housing and upper rod of root section, links of articulated parallelogram. Arm is mounted on said supports, and power cylinders of arm are arranged at angle relative to each other, their housings are mounted on trunnions of common hinge joint, and rods are connected with trunnions in hinge joint unit of arm.
EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities of boom owing to increased zone of action in horizontal plane.
