FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method delivery of additional working medium to engine intake takes place simultaneously with increasing air pressure at engine intake at transient conditions owing to speeding up of turbocompressor rotor by means of electric machine supplied from storage battery through frequency converter. Additional working medium is prepared in electric torch device. At transient conditions of starting and keeping engine in hot stand mode before delivery of fuel and compressed air into engine cylinders, engine is warmed up by gas mixture consisting of compressed atmospheric air and fuel combustion products at engine intake. Additional electric energy is generated by electric machine both at warming up conditions (without starting the engine) for charging storage batteries and at operation of engine with power supply to consumers. Proposed internal combustion engine contains additional electric torch device, mixture valve and fuel pump, recuperative gas-to-water heat exchanger, frequency and voltage converter, electric machine and temperature transmitter. First input of electric torch device is coupled with compressor output, second input is connected with oxygen reservoir through oxygen supply valve, and third input is coupled with fuel tank through fuel valve and fuel pump, and output is connected simultaneously with engine intake and, through gas mixture valve and recuperative gas-to-water heat exchanger, with engine outlet. First terminal of storage battery is connected with electric machine through frequency and voltage converter, electric machine being mechanically coupled with turbocompressor, and second terminal of storage battery is connected with electric primer, third terminal is connected to control device one control input of which is connected with maximum fuel feed transmitter and second control input is coupled with temperature transmitter installed on engine. Control outputs are connected, respectively, with frequency and voltage converter, storage battery, fuel feed pump, fuel feed, oxygen and gas mixture feed valves.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of engine under transient conditions.
