FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal combustion engines, particularly to diesel starting devices. Proposed device comprises at least one electric-torch pintle plug fitted in inlet manifold and connected to electromagnetic fuel valve communicated with fuel feed system low-pressure line. Note here that electromagnetic fuel valve and electric-torch pintle plug are connected to storage battery. There is additional electronic control unit connected with rpm and coolant temperature pickups, electromagnetic fuel valve, electric-torch pintle plug, generator cutoff relay and that connecting starter to storage batteries. Note also that electric circuit comprises operation control lamp and button cutting on electric-torch device.

EFFECT: higher efficiency and ease of diesel cold start, reduced time interval of so-called "white smoking" inherent in cold diesel operation, unified electric-torch pintle plug for various diesels.
