FIELD: mechanical engineering; turbomachines.

SUBSTANCE: method relates to determining parameters of high speed gas flows and it can be used for measuring full pressure of working gas in relative motion after working wheel of turbomachine. According to proposed speed of turbomachine wheel onto operation of probe rotating together with working wheel and connected through pressure transmitter with pressure gauge, double of pressure measurements of two gases, namely, working gas and outer gas by which working gas in probe tube is replaced after measurement of working gas pressure, is carried out. Outer gas has gas constant differing from gas constant of working gas. Then full pressure of working gas in relative motion behind working wheel blading of turbomachine is calculated. Proposed method can be used for determining pressures on blade surfaces of any turbomachine.

EFFECT: improved accuracy of pressure measurements.
