FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: signals airflow static pressure pulsation transducer arranged in zone of impeller vanes are registered. Said signals are amplified. Said signals are converted into frequency spectrum. Approximating lower limit of spectrum component amplitude oscillation change is set in vane repetition rate for impeller rpm variation range without allowance for resonance. Actual amplitudes and location of spectrum component in vane repetition rate at varying impeller rpm are recorded. In case said amplitudes fall beyond lower limit, diagnosed is moment of vane resonance oscillation.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability.
