FIELD: connection of pipe lines.
SUBSTANCE: end seal of pipe line consists of two sealing rings with external (relative to high-pressure area) location of end faces of friction pairs locked in circumferential direction relative to revolving and immovable parts of pipe line which are mounted for performing angular turn and axial displacement; said parts are provided with elastic and sealing members. Located in between sealing rings is intermediate sealing ring made from material of friction pair at high compressive strength and stiffness, for example, cermet; it is fitted at negative allowance in through hole in radially rigid thick-walled body made in form of ring.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability; adequate service life of seal.
