FIELD: technical physics.
SUBSTANCE: pulse electron beam with energy exceeding 50 keV is used to excite glow of specimen. At same time zonal radiation fluxes are recorded in time interval from 10-8 to 1.0 s with time resolution not worse than 20 ns. Relative zonal coefficients are determined as relative values of fluxes in spectral zones at specified time moments after termination of excitation pulse. Results are tabulated and used as passport of specimen by which specimens are discriminated.
EFFECT: reduced time of analysis, enhanced sensitivity and selectivity of spectral luminescent analysis.
