FIELD: materials utilized in quantum electronics.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers specifically to monocrystals employed in the capacity of matrix for solid lasers with diode pumping. Matrix of laser material presents mixed orthoborate of lanthanum and/or cerium and scandium with chemical formula R1-xScxBO3, where R-La and /or Ce, 0.9>x>0.5.
EFFECT: fabrication of matrix of laser material with high degree of isomorphic capacitance sufficient for its usage as laser material with high concentration of ions of activators of transition and/or rare-earth metals.
