FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed permanent-magnet rotor designed for use in synchronous motors and generators, valve motors for industrial robot drives, tape drives, motion-picture equipment, and programming devices has magnetically soft yoke, flat permanent magnets, cylindrical permanent magnets, flat cores with pole shoes, and short-circuited winding. Novelty is that yoke is made in the form of regular prism with radial slots accommodating flat and cylindrical permanent magnets, cylindrical pole cores with pole shoes, and circular short-circuited winding.
EFFECT: simplified design and enhanced power due to increased magnetic flux.
