FIELD: hydroacoustics; protection of surface and underwater craft against unauthorized reading of data on their characteristics.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device designed to protect water craft against reading of information about technical characteristics of equipment by foreign observation and monitoring means in the framework of implementing international contracts of the Russian Federation and other programs and projects incorporates provision for generating acoustic signals whose parameters are set automatically. Device has newly introduced water-craft current coordinates output unit, hydroacoustic receiver coordinate memory unit, comparison unit, command output unit, and control unit; first input of comparison unit is connected to output of water-craft current coordinates output unit and second input of comparison unit is connected to output of hydroacoustic receiver coordinate memory unit; comparison unit output is series-connected through command output unit and control unit to acoustic signal shaper whose output is connected to radiating antenna; power supply output is connected to inputs of hydroacoustic coordinates memory unit, comparison unit, command output unit, control unit, acoustic signal shaper, radiating antenna, and water-craft current coordinates output unit.

EFFECT: enhanced speed of response and effectiveness of water craft protection against hydroacoustic receivers.
