FIELD: medical engineering; medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out generalized foramenotomy, forming two canals in intervertebral space and introducing two self-tapping threaded perforated implants. First, one of the implants is set in intervertebral space at an angle of 40-45° to sagittal plane and then, the other one is set in parallel to sagittal plane from single generalized foramenotomy resection window. The second implant partially overlays the built canal for receiving the first implant. It provides intervertebral vertebral body fixation without injuring dural sack and cerebral roots. The device has two self-tapping threaded perforated implants having conic and cylindrical parts with threaded hole and two slots on the end face in the cylindrical part. Grooves are produced on one of implants arranged at an angle of 40-45° with respect to central axis of the implant. Grove radius is equal to the second implant radius. Central axes of the grooves and the central implant axis belong to the same plane. To introduce the implant into intervertebral space, the device has V-shaped tubular guide member composed of combined main and auxiliary tubes arranged at an angle of 40-45° having fixing protrusion in supporting end part of the main tube. Supporting edge of the main tube is arranged in perpendicular to the central axis of the auxiliary tube. The central axis of the auxiliary tube and the central axis of the main tube intersect in supporting edge plane. Stepwise cut is done in the supporting end part of the main tube.
