FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has rod having guide member and slide bar and mechanism for carrying out slide bar distraction along the guide making an integral part. The rod is threaded. The slide bar and guide member are united as dovetail. The mechanism for carrying out slide bar distraction along the guide is manufactured as lead screw mounted in threaded opening of the slide bar between supporting protrusions in guide groove. Slide bar sliding plane along the guide is deflected from the central axis of the rod not less than by 15 deg and coincides with lead screw axis. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of displaced vertebrae distraction in intervertebral space increasing its height. 5 dwg
