FIELD: food engineering, in particular, equipment for grinding of animal products.

SUBSTANCE: meat grinder has set of knife grids, hollow cylindrical horizontal casing with guiding grooves extending along axis in casing inner surface. Casing is provided at its one side with charging opening and at its other side with outer thread. Hopper is arranged in vertical position above charging opening. Single-thread Archimedes' spiral is axially fixed inside hollow cylindrical casing and connected at side adjoining hopper to mechanical drive for rotation thereof and four-petal knife is fixed at other side thereof. Four-petal knife is in contact with one of knife grids immovably fixed inside hollow cylindrical casing. Knife grid is provided with through openings distributed over the entire surface and is attached to casing by end nut. Each through opening of knife grid is made in the form of truncated cone oriented with its larger base toward four-petal knife. Inclination angle of truncated cone generatrix is 2.5-7 deg.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and simplified construction.
