FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: meat grinder designed for grinding food products, in particular for meat processing into mince meat at catering enterprises, food industry and in everyday life. Meat grinder comprises: housing 1, auger 2, on axis of which there is chopper 3, blades of which have toothed edges 4, toothed ring 5 with internal toothed edge 6, grid 7 with holes 8, coupling nut 9. Knife blades matching-tooth blades of chopper 3 have through slots 10 with sharp cutting edges, forming closed loops with an oval, or rectangular, or arbitrarily configured shape, and toothed ring 5 with internal toothed edge 6, concentrically located relative to chopper 3 to maintain minimum possible distance (play) between internal toothed edge 6 of toothed ring 5 and toothed edges 4 of each of chopper 3. Toothed ring, triangular teeth of cutting edges of blades of chopper and through slots in blades of chopper with sharp cutting edges, forming closed loops with an oval, or rectangular, or arbitrarily configured shape, enable to reduce torque fluctuations on shaft of feeding auger of meat grinder and enable to use thinner grids in meat grinder, which improves quality of finished product, improves efficiency of grinder and saves expensive alloyed metal used for making grids.
