FIELD: mining industry; preparation of a pulp from clay sands.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with the field of mining art, and in particular, with preparation of a pulp from sands of placers before their concentration and may be used at concentrating mills, dredges and together with installations for washing of the sands produced by an open and underground methods. The method includes a dispersion of argillaceous gangue by directed pressure water-air jets. The sands are fed along a working plane with a downward expansion with inclination of 20-45 ° towards to the sprays of the pressure water-air jets. In downward direction the number of jets in the rows is increased and water pressure - decreased. The jets in the rows are located with a shift in respect to each other. The jets are directed at an acute angle to the working plane. The device includes a loading hopper and a rinsing bath equipped with nozzles. The rinsing bath is made in the form of a truncated pyramid and is installed with its working plane expansion directed downward with an adjustable inclination to horizon from 20 up to 45 °. The rinsing bath is equipped with combs located above and under the working plane with the nozzles installed on them nozzles with an adjustable inclination to the working plane from 90 up to 45 °. The number nozzles on the combs is increasing downward and the nozzle are locates on some combs with displacement in respect to the nozzles on another combs. The technical result is an increase of productivity and improved quality of the pulp preparation process and decreased specific power input at the method realization.
