FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rail car brake equipment includes brake main line connected through air distributor with standby reservoir and brake cylinder. Rod of brake cylinder is connected by leverage with brake beams carrying brake shoes installed on suspensions hinge-mounted on bogie frame. Hinge joints of suspensions are installed for movement in guides of bogie frame and are coupled with rod of additional pneumatic cylinder whose underpiston space is connected by air conduit with standby reservoir. Compression spring arranged in overpiston space of cylinder is in contact with piston and end face part of housing of additional pneumatic cylinder.
EFFECT: prevention of self-slipping of cars in case of air leakage from brake system when brake anticreep shoes are not installed.
