FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, namely to rolling stock brakes. Proposed brake comprises brake line, air control valve, standby tank and braking cylinder. Braking cylinder is hinged to bogie. Braking cylinder piston is coupled via con rod and bell crank with lever gear of braking clamp control system. Braking cylinder rod consists of two semi-cylinders. One of the latter comprises main piston spring-loaded by compression spring and rigidly secured thereon while another accommodates auxiliary piston arranged and secured in similar way. Main piston semi-piston is pivoted to bell crank of lever gear of braking clamp control system. Auxiliary piston semi-piston comprises additional bell crank in contact with that of the main piston semi-piston. Braking cylinder inner chamber, on piston sides where no compression springs are arranged, are communicated by separate pipelines with both air control valve and standby tank. Auxiliary piston semi-cylinder end, opposite bell crank, is furnished with locating holes to fix semi-cylinder relative to braking cylinder casing.
EFFECT: ruling out spontaneous motion when brakes fail.
