FIELD: investigation of road accidents.

SUBSTANCE: proposed group of invention is designed for use at plotting spatial trajectory of vehicle movement basing on recoded data. Method provides measurement of parameters of movement, at least accelerations, with keeping of results of measurements in storage and subsequent reproduction and analyzing of results of measurements. Current values of vehicle angular velocity projections onto its three geometric relatively orthogonal axes are measured additionally, and results of measurements are used for plotting trajectory in projection on horizontal plane by coordinates in local system of coordinals as function of reverse time found by revealed equations of vehicle movement in space. Proposed device contains two micrometric accelerometers with sensitivity axles orientated, respectively, in direction of longitudinal and cross overloads of vehicle, and microcontroller connected with outputs of accelerometers through analog-to-digital converters. Moreover, introduced additionally into device are three micrometric angular velocity pickups with relatively orthogonal sensitivity axles whose outputs are connected to inputs of microcontroller through analog-to-digital converters. Sensitivity axle of one pickup is orientated in direction of longitudinal overload of vehicle, other axle is orientated in direction of vertical overload and third axle, in direction of side overload.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of restoration of speed and trajectory of movement before and after road accident.
