FIELD: oil producing industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for alternating delivery of oil and water to pump suction when operating flooded wells complicated by formation of high0viscosity water-oil emulsion in tubings. Proposed entry device has settling chamber connected with sub of oil-well pump intake part which partially accommodates U-shaped supply branch pipe one end of which is brought out behind settling chamber. Said settling chamber is provided inlet channel with section smaller than passage section of settling chamber in its lower part. Inlet channel communicates settling chamber with cup provided with holes in upper part. Inlet channel is made in form of tube located in cup whose lower end is arranged lower than holes of cup, and upper end is settling chamber at a distance from its bottom. Area of ring section between tube and cup is chosen to provide maximum velocity of water downward flow in this section exceeding oil floating velocity by not more than two times, and minimum volume of ring space between tube and cup should be not less than half of volume of liquid getting into pump at suction.
EFFECT: improved reliability of entry device, increased rate of water withdrawal from well, increased period of operation between overhauls.
