CLUTCH DISK Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2232314 C2

FIELD: manufacture of automobiles; automobile friction clutches.

SUBSTANCE: proposed clutch disk includes hub and at least one load-bearing member of lining which is connected with hub. Both sides are provided with friction material which forms friction linings; it is connected over surface with load-bearing member of friction linings; its shape provides for forming axial projections on both sides of load-bearing member by friction linings. Recesses are formed in between axial projections; projections on both sides of load-bearing member of friction linings are located at shift in such way that elastic axial deformation of load-bearing member of friction linings occurs at axial clamping of friction linings.

EFFECT: reduced consumption of friction material; improved service characteristics.
