FIELD: material with a variable phase and stabilized density, method for production of it and a thermal battery based on it.

SUBSTANCE: the material with a variable phase includes a salt consisting of hydrated nitrate metal of Group IIA and nitrate metal of group IA, and a certain amount of liquid material sufficient to produce a density of the liquid a variable phase approximately similar in the process of phase variation. The method for production of material with a variable phase and stabilized density consists in steps for production of salt consisting of hydrated nitrate metal of Group IIA and nitrate metal of Group IA and addition of a certain amount of liquid material sufficient to produce a density of the liquid and solid phases of the mentioned material with a variable phase approximately similar in the process of phase variation. The thermal battery has a duct for passage of working fluid, material with a variable phase and stabilized density placed in the container that consists of salt consisting of hydrated that consists of salt consisting of hydrated nitrate metal of group IIA and nitrate metal of group IA, as well as of liquid material, in the process of phase transition the solid phase density of the material with a variable phase approximately equals the density of the liquid phase of the material with a variable phase.
