FIELD: railway transport; test facilities.
SUBSTANCE: proposed test stand contains base with posts and supports, shaft coupled with drive motor and provided with flywheel for testing vehicle running wheel in contact with rail track simulator made in form of roll. Stand has also mechanisms to provide vertical radial loading of running wheel, horizontal side loading of running wheel, spring loaded lever hinge mounted on supports and coupled with mechanism for vertical radial loading of running wheel. Shaft with flywheel for running wheel is installed on platform for turning the platform in horizontal plane under action of loading mechanism designed for simulation of wobbling movement of running wheel. Roll is secured on shaft with flywheel installed in bearing supports of housing hinge suspended from two tie-rods of parallelogram mechanism and secured on spring-loaded lever for interaction with mechanism for horizontal side loading of running wheel for simulation of loads in horizontal plane when vehicle is running and when negotiating curved sections of track. Roll shaft is coupled with loading set made in form of electric generator or balancing machine.
EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities of stand, reduced power consumption.
