FIELD: seismic prospecting.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has dc voltage source connected to second diagonal of bridge commutation circuit, with controlled keys being connected to circuit legs. Energy storage unit capacitor connected to seismic source having discharge circuit is switched to first diagonal. Throttle windings connected in series with keys are switched to adjacent legs of bridge circuit. Connection points thereof are connected directly or through additional throttle windings to storage unit terminal through key devices.
EFFECT: reduced pulsation of consumed current and storage unit charging current and, accordingly, reduced losses in apparatus members, reduced loading of said members with pulsed currents, decreased charging time and provision for higher level of voltage stabilization on energy storage unit.
