SUBSTANCE: electromagnetic drive has a capacitive storage and a power electromagnet, the excitation coil of which is dual-section. A current switching circuit enables rapid change of duration of the force generated by the electromagnet and recuperation of energy from the magnetic field into the capacitive storage, which improves process and operational characteristics of the seismic vibrator.
