FIELD: piezoelectric engineering; manufacture of high-frequency quartz-crystal resonators.
SUBSTANCE: proposed quartz-crystal resonator has quarts-crystal component of yxl/+35° (AT-) cut made in the form of inverted mesa-structure whose surface is covered on both sides with ellipse-shaped electrodes, large diameter of ellipse being oriented along crystallographic axis XX' and small diameter, along axis ZZ'; ellipse diameters are chosen in compliance with expression obtained from Bachmann criterion of single frequency.
EFFECT: improved single frequency occurrence, enhanced transient inductance of high-frequency quartz-crystal resonator.
