FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: neutralizer contains 0.5 to 10.0% of amine mixture and, as alkali agent, alkaline effluent from production of caprolactam (balancing amount). To enable composition to act at low temperatures, it may further contain 3.0-20.0% polyglycols. Method can be employed during production and transportation of crude oil.
EFFECT: expanded industrial possibilities due to enabled neutralization of both hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide resulting in integrated protection of oil-field equipment against corrosion.
