SUBSTANCE: invention relates to substituted 2-phenyl-1-(3,4-dihydroxy-5-nitrophenyl)-1-ethanones and describes a compound of the formula (I):
wherein R1 and R2 have similar or different values and mean hydrogen atoms or optionally substituted lower alkanoyl; R3, R4 and R5 have similar or different values and mean hydrogen atom, saturated lower hydrocarbon residue, halogen atom or aromatic rings, and its pharmaceutically acceptable salts. Also, invention describes a method for treatment of patient suffering with some disturbances in central and peripheral nervous system when reducing O-methylation of catecholamines can exhibit favorable curative effect on such diseases as Parkinson's disease and disorders relating to parkinsonism, gastrointestinal disorders, edemas and hypertension. Except for, invention describes a pharmaceutical composition eliciting COMT-effect. Invention provides preparing new compounds eliciting with useful biological properties.
