FIELD: fat-and-oil industry, in particular, adsorption purification of oil from phosphor-containing compounds, pigments, fatty acids, protein molecules, heavy metal ions and other non-polar molecules.
SUBSTANCE: method involves providing adsorption; adding acid solution followed by separation of oil from contaminant sediment. Adsorption process is effectuated with the use of 5-7% phosphoric acid solution added in an amount of 0.53-0.6% by weight of oil, followed by adding of sodium silicate solution having density of 1.32-1.34 g/cm3 in an amount of 0.7-0.8% by weight of oil. After adding of each of said solutions, oil is mixed to provide for homogeneous consistency and is further exposed to supersonics at frequency of 22-25 KHz for 10-20 min, said process being carried out at temperature of 18-230C.
EFFECT: improved quality of purified oil, simplified and low-cost method.
