FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with metallurgy, in particular, with preparation of ligature of aluminum - refractory metals and may be used at preparation of ligatures of aluminum - refractory metals for smelting of the casting aluminum alloys and production of precise casings out of them. The method includes: treatment of an aluminum melt by a halogenide of a refractory metal at simultaneous action of nanosecond electromagnetic pulses with a specific power of 1000-1500 MW/m3. The invention allows to increase refractoriness, strength and plastic performances of produced ligatures, and also their castability by increasing solubilization and uniformity of distributions of high-melting alloying(doping) elements in a mold, comminution of its microscopic structures. Use of high-melting ligatures ensures an improved complex of the casting and physical-mechanical properties of silumins and produced out of them precise castings.
EFFECT: the invention allows to increase refractoriness, strength and plastic performances of produced ligatures, their castability and production of precise castings.
