FIELD: heat supply systems; fluidized-bed combustion of various kinds of fuel for heating working media.

SUBSTANCE: proposed catalytic heat-generator incorporating provision for controlling its heat power by varying heat-transfer surface area contacting fluidized bed of catalyst has vertical casing with air and fuel supply pipes in bottom part, stack gas discharging and catalyst charging pipes in top part, and gas-distribution grid disposed inside casing between air and fuel supply pipes that carries granular oxide catalyst bed; arranged in tandem above grid are non-isothermal packing and heat exchanger; catalyst discharging pipe is disposed on casing under non-isothermal packing and catalyst adding pipe, above the latter. Two or more catalyst discharging pipes can be disposed on casing above non-isothermal packing. Solid organizing packing having effective section of 50 - 90%, hole size amounting to 2 - 15 diameters of catalyst particles, and unconfined space fraction in packing stack amounting to 85 - 95% is placed above gas-distribution grid upstream of non-isothermal packing. Catalyst particle antientrainment device is installed at stack gas outlet. Heat exchanger is provided with water drain siphon. Heat-transfer surfaces contacting fluidized bed are disposed above non-isothermal packing. Heat-generator power control process boils down to variation of catalyst content in heat-generator.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of burned fuel heat utilization and environmental friendliness of exit gases; facilitated heat power control.
