FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: dehydrated sludge is dried to moisture content of 1-2% in the upper part of an additional reactor upon contact with a fluidised bed of a mixture of dispersed particles of a catalyst and an inert material at 100-200°C. After separation from the vapour-gas mixture, about 60% of the sludge with moisture content of 1-2% is treated at 700-750°C in the lower part of the reactor in the fluidised bed of the mixture of dispersed particles of a catalyst and an inert material, formed successively by a fixed bed and a mesh with cell parameters which provide a temperature gradient between the continuous fluidised bed above the mesh and under the mesh of 500-550°C. Heat treatment of the remainder of the sludge is carried out primarily in the reactor at 500-750°C in the fluidised bed of a mixture of dispersed particles of a catalyst and an inert material formed by a fixed bed.
EFFECT: invention simplifies temperature control in the fluidised bed and reduces consumption of additional fuel while maintaining efficiency of catalytic treatment of sewage sludge.
