FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be implemented for self-contained water heating, air heating and hot water supply of living spaces and industrial premises, buildings and constructions, garages, hothouses, storages, farms, summer cottages etc. The catalytic heat generator consists of a vertically directed case with an inlet for fuel supply and an outlet for discharge gases including at least three chambers: a primary furnace in a lower part of the case and two afterburning chambers arranged above the primary furnace; also chambers are formed with horizontally directed partitions with gaps for combustion products passing; the catalytic heat generator additionally consists of a grid with immovable layer of catalyst, notably the grid is installed in an upper part of the primary furnace; also catalyst corresponds to heat-resistant porous carrier with nickel and copper oxides applied on it at the following ratio of components, wt %: copper oxide - 1.0-3.0, nickel oxide 1.0-2.5, carrier - the rest; further the heat generator consists of a block of controlled air supply located in the lower part of the primary furnace, of the channel of secondary air supply into the afterburning chamber and of heat-exchange block.
EFFECT: design of catalytic heat generator efficiently utilising heat at burning various kinds of fuel of any humidity facilitating ecological safety of exhaust gases and control of heat power of generator.
