FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method is proposed to control capacity of a heat generator with a fluidised bed due to modification of a heat exchange surface contacting with a fluidised bed of a catalyst in a catalytic heat generator, comprising a vertical vessel with nozzles for supply of air and fuel in the lower part, nozzles of smoke fumes discharge and loading of the catalyst in the upper part, with a gas distribution grid inside the vessel between nozzles of air and fuel supply, on which there is a layer of a granulated oxidation accelerator, above which there is an organising and a non-isothermic nozzles installed in series, a heat exchanger, and on the vessel under the non-isothermic nozzle there is a nozzle to discharge the catalyst with thermal power control, thermal power of the heat generator is controlled by reduction of air flow supplied for fluidisation, and amount of burnt fuel due to change in size of catalyst granules or due to change in density of catalyst granules available in the heat generator.
EFFECT: reduced amount of burnt fuel and thermal power of a heat generator.
