FIELD: investigation of holes and seams in the process of drilling.
SUBSTANCE: the signal produced by a drill bin is used as a pilot signal. Cross-correlated pilot signal and seismic signals transmitted to the ground and reflected from the seams are measured. The pilot signal and the seismic signals may be transformed from a convolution thus producing seismogram tracks, on which the signal is distorted by noise. The drilling parameters are obtained simultaneously with these signals connected with them. For provision of an improved signal-to-noise ratio and a more accurate separation of signal and noise the pilot signals and seismic signals obtained by multiple measurements for one and the same range of depths are partially or completely summed up with the weight on the basis of one or more drilling parameters or their combination. For measurement of the mentioned signals use is made of a number of receivers forming a seismic line.
EFFECT: enhanced signal-to-noise ratio.
